No loss to the cabinet. If you ever watched her on Question Time she could be obnoxious. A few years back there were certain remarks made about white people. I really don't want to get into that. Most of you here like her and that is fair enough. I don't.However, I am sorry she is unwell and has personal problems. I do not like her as a politician and I do not think she is a nice person. Folk probably think the same about me.

She was an embarrassment it seems strange that after her car crash interview when she said immigrants didn't have to speak English to work over here the next day she's out of the shadow cabinet. She was a hyprocrite sending her son to private school and after the fiasco when her figures didn't add up its a wonder she later this long.

Your above post very much demonstrates the abuse that Diane Abbott has received throughout her political working life by way of the media and individual persons going to any lengths in attempts to "dig any dirt" they perceive to find.

Now even when she is very obviously ill and taking a step back in parliament some still wish to continue such activity. However, by attempting the states that states more in regard to the character of the people carrying such actions than it ever has done in regard to the character of Diane Abbott.

growstuff, thanks for setting out so clearly how grim type two can be. It’s often dismissed, especially alongside blaming the person for bringing it on themselves. I’ve always exercised, never been overweight but a few years ago was told I was pre diabetic. This was according to my gp, the result of several auto immune conditions I’ve had for years.

She got some figures wrong in an interview, she did not, however, pretend that 30,000 nurses were 50,000 nurses, deliberately.

I went to work once in odd shoes.
At the time I had a lot on my mind and a lot of worries.
That was when I was much younger and didn't notice until my kindly colleague pointed it out (bless him).

Not surprised as on a not to recent media photo she was shown wearing odd shoes! then when in parliament she did not look 'too well' ?I don't think will have taken this decision lightly.
