All the opposition parties in the House of Commons were unanimous in bringing that welcome situation about.

I truly believe the NEC vote to get rid of Tom Watson was a fix. The day before the start of the party conference!

Urmstongran in regards to your post @21:48 today, Johnson has yet to form a solution to the little matter of the legislation that has been laid down that instructs him that he must find a deal acceptable to Parliament if Britain is to leave the EU on the 31st of October.

That same legislation also prevents Johnson and his cohorts from taking Britain out of the European Union on a no deal basis.

So, Urmstongran let us all witness how Johnson handles the above problems and then see how the then inevitable General Election turns out.

My dd went to an independent school. She won a full fee scholarship. I could not have afforded to pay her fees at £13k per term 19 years ago. I would not have been pleased if she was not allowed to go to University.

If Labour want to abolish private schools then why not private housing as well. Then we can all live in bog standard council housing with red front doors and have no interest in striving to improve ourselves!
