Corbyn the chicken running scared of a geneta election

Here’s the chap who put a picture of a chicken with Jeremy Corbyn’s face on the front page of The Sun this morning.

It is strange that some people who until a few weeks ago were insisting they didn't want a GE are now demanding one and blaming Corbyn because he won't do what Boris wants. After all it's in the title they are the Opposition party. And anyone who knows what a disaster No Deal would be should applaud Corbyn for holding Boris to account.

Why do some people assume that if you criticise St Boris or the holy Brexit you must therefore be a supporter of Corbyn? I think Johnson is a charlatan of the first order, Brexit is his turd he is trying to polish, but no I don’t support Corbyn, but I don’t blame him for not falling into Johnson’s, or rather Rasputin Cummings, trap.

In Scotland, the headline is ‘Floppy Johnson can’t get an election’. Total opposite of the English ‘chicken’ one!

On BBCQT Richard Tice Brexit Party got Emily Thornberry to admit Labour's plan if they win an election.

Negotiate a better deal with the EU then campaign against that deal for Remain in a second EU referendum, you couldn't make it up.

Yet still some idiots support Labour ?

I think electoral pacts could very well be the secret to success at the next election. And one thing we can be sure of is that this election is just around the corner!

The problem with Johnson is his language, he talks rubbish,
“Dead in a ditch” rather than accept EU deal.

Clearly he will still be living after a deal is done, he is a buffoon, a proven liar who cannot be trusted and has no place in politics.

There won’t be a better deal, or any deal ( other than T May’s one) now that Parliament has Made sure no deal is off the table.Since that deal has been rejected three times, there is now no deal at all, and no ‘no deal’.
Our idiotic MPs need their collective heads banging together.

So do the idiotic sections of the public, which seems to think they're watching some kind of football match and there can only be one "winner".

It seems to me that by refusing a GE until after no deal is taken off the table the Labour party are basically saying they know if they go to the country before they will lose. If they are so sure the majority are against no deal - then have a GE now,

Not sure there are going to be any winners any more regardless of what anyone wanted in 2016.

I’ve seen so much bile, from both sides, being spouted in an ever increasing circle where people demand to know how people voted and then embrace/declaim the answer.

I feel so fortunate that I didn’t vote due to being abroad at the time and having no strong feelings either way but prepared to accept the result either way. It has meant that family, friends and acquaintances have pretty much left me alone but I’ve seen the way they’ve pounced on others for their choice and it’s not pleasant.

Time for an election with clear policy from the parties on this subject.

Don’t tell me, let me guess, the millions who voted to Leave the EU, in your eyes.
Of course, it was entirely idiotic to think that having voted in the referendum and the outcome being ‘to Leave’ received the most votes, that we would actually be allowed to leave by our Parliament!
The majority of MPs, having voted to trigger the leaving process have done nothing but try to scupper the whole proceeding ever since.
They blatantly don’t care what the majority of the population who voted wanted, or the fact that they agreed to it in Parliament.
They will care though, at the forthcoming GE.

It wasn’t Tice who pushed Thornberry for an explanation of the Labour Brexit policy on QT, it was Fiona Bruce in one of the most unedifying editions of the programme I’ve ever seen. The explanation was ludicrous, I cringed for her.

That said, not allowing Johnson an election a time when he could reverse or ignore the no deal legislation is common sense. Johnson lies like a cheap watch and can’t be trusted an inch. He’d sell us all down the river in a heartbeat if it suited him.

Shoequeen I'd only seen a clip of QT, so I thought I'd watch the whole thing on catch up to see if I'd missed something. Yes, you're right. Fiona Bruce kept interrupting Thornberry and asking leading questions. Thornberry was hardly given a chance to say anything.

Hmm - no comments regarding my post of 9.35 - perhaps because those supporting Corbyn's stance know it's true?

The longer we go without an election the more time Johnson has to show what an idiot he is. Many people thought that his buffoonery was just an act but, watching him over the last few days I don't think it is. He just waffles, can't string sentences together and can't remember things. Apparently around 70% of the population don't like him. The sooner we are rid of him as PM, the better.

If 70% of the population don't like him then wouldn't it be a good idea to have an election sooner rather than later?
