Does anyone know when the WTO elections will be taking place [just in case we have a no deal Brexit...]?

Gonegirl - there is a point in taking note of what happens in the EU. In or out of the EU we will all be affected.

I was once a member of the Labour party, Momentum members put me off voting for them since. I am at a loss, I haven't voted yet. I am tempted to vote green for the environment, I am struggling though voting for the green party that views females as non men.

On our way to vote. A few at the school gates today saying have put papers in bin ( both parents and grandps.).
Some Eu nationals, German and Polish, who despite being eligible and filling in correct forms, have had their names crossed off the list. Some UK nationals abroad have had their applications, delayed etc by local authorities . (Exactly what happened to my son in the Referendum). We need to get our administration of elections sorted out if we want to hold ourselves up as a model of democracy.

The Brexit Party doesn't have a manifesto, so those if you who have voted for them could be opening an even bigger can of worms.

Voted for The Brexit Party this morning, there is no other choice for us worth mentioning.
Asked AC yesterday what they intended, one will vote Brexit Party, one Labour and the other refuses to vote for any of them.
Went about 9 a.m and polling station not very busy.

drum it is always a much more moderated level and intelligent discussion than we get on here. Has been since 2016. They are the future of course - thank goodness!!

grandad zilch will happen. The new MEPs will be confident of at least a couple of years worth of attendance. The government will continue announcing that the will of the people is to leave. The voting population will know different as polls show that the leave vote is in steady decline. The government will blame their leader and get rid of her in the most undignified manner possible. They will then set about knifing each other in the back whilst they fight over the next rubbish leader. Farage will laugh all the way to the bank and demand to be heard, but having no representation will be ignored.

Meanwhile the U.K. creaks under the strain of the worst managed country ever to be inflicted by a Tory government.

The mumsnet discussion on this couldn't be more different. Most saying they're voting Lib Dems to keep Nigel Farage and his ilk out. Perhaps there really is a divide according to age. They also are very concerned, none of them saying they're not bothered about who gets in.

Grandad1943 Perhaps the polling is slow because people are working (it usually gets busier in the evening) or like me people have used postal votes.

Well, it's a bit pointless really. I was dragged there by DH. Still it was a walk. Bit of exercise never goes amiss.

It is only a General Election or a second referendum that can change anything, whatever the outcome of this its Westminster that holds all the power regarding Brexit.

However,have just taken an hour or so off from work to cast my vote, and my wife and myself were the only people in the polling station here in North Somerset. Those working there said polling has been been very slow since they opened this morning.

That states it all I believe.

People have always used elections to voice their opinions of the government.

Haven't voted yet, just on our way to do so. Really wanted to support Theresa but I just can't support the Cons. so eloquently described by you Gonegirl so the Brexit party it is.

Nothing democratic about denying those living in other parts of the EU their vote when they have signed up to vote in the UK.
