The issue here is not failing to follow parliamentary rules but that he wants to be PM and shows no respect for the rules.

Yes I know he's looking to be the next PM and I suspect others are too hence my remark about him not being the only evader, meaning that there'll be a few who have their knives in him so out comes all the dirt, most likely from the ones who accused BJ in the first place. He made a few enemies along the way.

Hansard has produced the results of a survey in which 66% polled think we ought to have a strong leader and only 23% disagree. Of those who favour a strong leader a large proportion did not mind if he/she broke the rules. Hence Boris' popularity.
