Barenaked Ladies show us their form

So many people now strip off when protesting that it has lost any effect. When it was first done there was the "shock" value which caused people to take notice of what was being said this is no longer the case, and in fact could harm the cause by devaluing the message

... there was a photo' of them from behind (pun, sorry) and they just all looked a bit vulnerable and a tad silly, to me.
Don't know why, but stripping off for 'the cause' always makes me groan. Do people take them seriously? It usually just causes a few sniggers and witty comments from some - but I don't really think it enhances their case, somehow.
I think it's something to do with trying to be serious when you're standing there in the 'nud'... it doesn't really work for me because the contrast with their seriousness and saggy bits (or not), I find too comical.
Perhaps I've not really grown up enough and am missing something. It does attract attention - but is it the right sort of attention?!

Well, it is April Fools Day after all, and in my view can only have added to the daft goings on there today where they all whizz about voting no to everything.
