Masterchef Marathon death

Tragic - it seems every year there is something like this happening during marathons - maybe there needs to be some kind of health screening for competitors.

Very sad. I read he was running in memory of his father who died 18 months ago. Tragic for his family.

So very sad. That poor young man, and his family in mourning now.

Lots of conditions can go undetected. This young man was a seasoned runner so really no one would have thought him ill-advised to run.

How terrible. What a lovely young man.

I keep thinking of his family - the shock of losing a fit and healthy son at such a young age is overwhelming, but coming so soon after his father's death........his poor mother.

It certainly is a tragic ending for doing something so worthwhile in his fathers memory.
