Maureen Lipman left the Labour Party while Ed Miliband was leader. Nothing to do with Jeremy Corbyn. She obviously thought Ed wasn’t doing enough to deal with anti-semitism either.

There is far more anti-semitism in the Tory party than in the Labour party.
Why do the MSM not mention that? Because they are biassed and scared stiff of the power they will lose when the Labour party gets back into government.
There is anti-semitism everywhere, and since that referendum a lot has come out of the woodwork. But JC is not and never has been, and neither are most of the Labour party.

I would imagine it's her age and she is returning to her roots, her family were never Labour supporters.

No I didn't say she had no right to comment I said that as she left under Ed Milliband her assertion that she no longer aupported Labour because she thought Corbyn was anti-semitic had to be questioned. Of course she could still be a supporter, but there has to be doubt.

Why should it be questioned ? I know people who have left labour but still care about the party, they will return only if the far left lose control, little chance of that sadly .

If wanting fully funded NHS, schools, police service and helping the sick, disabled, homeless and those less fortunate than myself means I am totally left wing so be it. That’s what Corbyn wants. In my opinion if I stop wanting those things I will have lost my humanity.

I know of a few Labour supporters who follow Corbyn blindly, not being aware of his transgressions, his own prejudices, his knee-jerk reactions and his default position to rebellion. He got away with it, quietly being Militant on the back benches for so long. Now he has power and leads the opposition he is (with aiding and abetting from far left Momentum - the party within a party) realising his own personal projection of socialism at its worst.

Many of those who blindly follow Labour (only because they "don't vote Conservative") really need to take their blinkers off and see what a selfish, power-hungry, radical and destructive force this new far-left Labour Party has become.

As is current in much of the media, calls for the formation of a new party created from the mess Labour has become are getting louder. I believe very few voters have time for extremes or the far left or right factions of politics.

Labour's far left stance is driving people into the middle and as the Conservative party now covers so much of the central ground, looking to ways to the poorest paid, the need for housing and assurances regarding the NHS, it's going to become the natural home for so many who want to see common sense and decency prevail.

Labour has now become the home for rebellion, youthful anarchy and hot heads who want Trotskyism/Communism as a way of life. (Look at Murray a current member of the Labour party who joined Corbyn from the Communist Party.) And of course the tax payers and anyone with even vague aspirations of bettering themselves will pay for it as minorities and radical organisations as well as opponents of western values thrive.

Corbyn is an apologist for hateful regimes and as a pacifist he cares little for patriotism, western culture, or the security of the UK.

He has unwittingly (or perhaps not) become a flexible tool for those with evil intentions, as he only really wants to overthrow UK ideals and sensible governance in an attempt to cleanse us of established order. He and his supporters play into the hands of enemies of the west.

Dyffryn we all want those things but the truth is there will never be enough money to put into them unless taxes are raised dramatically.No party, including the present government want to hit the majority of working people with far less in their pay packets.Who knows, in the future there may well be more money for home grown projects when we are out of the EU and past the time when we are paying huge amounts into it.
Corbyn and McDonnell promise that they can do just about anything by closing a few tax loopholes and putting up the taxes of the very wealthy.....they can’t.What it would mean in practice is hikes in tax for everybody and really massive borrowing.

However, she joined the Jewsh protest about Labour's anti semitism. She went on to say she was a disenfranchised socialist and Corbyn's behaviour had made her a Tory.

I think too many of you read MSM too much. Momentum are a group of people who want a kinder society. Too many of us are all about self. As long as we are ok we turn a blind eye to what is happening around us. The conservatives have had years to make our country better. All they have done is to make people poorer. The conservatives sell weapons to countries which help some if these so called awful regimes. We are complicit in so many of the things which is what is wrong with this world.

The revelation that Ms Lipman made virtually identical accusations against the former Labour leader Ed Miliband – who is Jewish himself – that she is now making about Jeremy Corbyn, will surely do nothing to curb concerns that the latest anti-Semitism row is being used by some as both a stick to beat Jeremy Corbyn with, and as an attempt to silence criticism of Israel’s ongoing atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Really!! With the lowest rae of house building since the 1920s, more homeless families, more people using food banks, more people struggling to survive on zero hours contracts, an NHS which has a winter crisis due to extend into summer not enough nurses in training, not enough doctors, schools having to ask parents for cash help and special neeeds children unable to find school places please could you explain to me how the Conservative party are doing the things you claim? Because from where I'm standing your post encompasses all I most dislike about Tory voters. that they refuse to take responsibilty for the choice they made and pretend that everything is going well, closing their eyes to poverty and need.
