Camden evacuation

800 households , where will they sleep

Let's hope that, as it's not an emergency, Camden Council have made arrangements before they started moving people out.

I wonder if this will happen every time a council finds they have a high risk building. Who will foot the bill?

A resident just said they were told it was because of gas pipes in the landing and they could expect to be out three to four weeks, she didn't know untill she saw it on the news

Still - they're supposed to all fit into the community centre?

Perhaps at the community centre they will get more information and be directed to somewhere else? It may be a central clearing point, not a place to stay.

How stressful for the residents.

Seems at the centre they will be directed where to go, cabs are waiting to drive them to families, if they have families.

I rather think Camden will have made plans - it's not K&C after all

They have not had a week - the council were told this evening by the fire service. Anyway, I expect it's all Jeremy's fault and he has planned this along with his communist comrades to get himself some more publicity
