Another really cheering thing is the good turnout , especially with the young. It makes one have a bit of hope for democracy. I was posting on another thread recently about feeling cynical about politics, now feeling more positive.

I'd far rather have Labour negotiators going to Brussels.

Sorry Tegan I'm over the moon that Anna Soubry has gone, and so is my daughter (who also lives in her constituency). She has been a dreadful constituency MP and had paid the price on local issues as much as anything else - duplicitous, self-serving, and arrogant. If she can lose, maybe there's a glimmer of hope that my conservative MP, of the same ilk, can also lose.
