No!!!! America will go to the brink then gather together some brain cells and vote Clinton, although Saunders would really have been the best bet, but even America hasn't reached those dizzy heights yet.
Indeed Kitty- gives me the heeby jeebies and worse. And it really does make you wonder what on earth is going on in the USA that allowes this to happen? Just beyond belief and seriously worrying and upsetting.
I think that there is a problem in general when politicians from whichever country are in for two terms. It also means that the opposition are the opposition for two terms, and everyone gets too comfortable, set in their ways and maybe going down the wrong one.
The Republican voters seems particularly annoyed with the Republican Party.
What times lies ahead! It'll be interesting to see how the Republican great and good will vote when it comes down to it, how he conducts his opposition with HC, and ultimately how the population vote. A long way to go yet and I still believe that the Democrates will win. Not all yanks are mad and bad ... but there's a lot of anger out there. It is a worry.
Trump and Boris- now that would be scary! All that blond hair...
with Putin and Kim
Got several relatives living in the States who have started to make enquiries about moving to Canada or try Switzerland, as they grand-parents or great-grand-parents were Swiss- and prepared to throw their US passport in the bin- if that happens.
I you lived in the USA, and Trump was indeed elected- would you stay??? I don't think I could.
BTW- it is close to civil war in some families there, as in mine- as some actually want Trump to win- and others are totally aghast at the thought and ready to leave if he does. Some of the cousins have actually stopped talking due to this already.
I think the only decent person is Sanders and he has done amazingly well, given that he is a dreaded socialist and has all of the US establishment against him. Apparently most of the media has given Sanders' rallies and speeches absolutely no coverage. The exception is Al Jazeera America which, I believe, has now closed down.
Trump is truly ghastly but from what I've read about Cruz, he is even more frightening. I don't like either of the Clintons.
There was a question on QT about this the other night and I think one of the replies was that he may be outrageous when campaigning but would not be able to carry out any of his more ludicrous suggestions if he gained office.
When even both former Presidents Bush refuse to endorse him, it is indeed worrying that Delboy Trump has reached this stage.
Could anyone here imagine actually living in the USA- if he won? I don't think I could- truly. One of my NY cousins sent me an e-mail today asking about emigrating...
