I love Kate Winslet in just about anything. Although I think Joanne Froggatt is good, I'm not sure her Downton performance is award-worthy tbh. Nice to see so many British nominations though. And Eddie Redmayne is quite extraordinary too. Hope he wins. And Idris of course.

I will go with Idris Elba, he has been nominated three times , hope he wins this time

Some lovely British nominations so far! Wolf Hall, Joanne Froggatt, Helen Mirren, Maggie Smith, Eddie Redmayne, Saoirse Ronan, Kate Winslet. Fingers crossed we win more than a few!
