but today it has hit home that he is gone. I'm glad that he died at his home; he deserved that, and that his mind was sharp to the end. Although I can't shake the cyniscism I feel over politics and politicians these days, I must adhere to his advice to me to be 'critical, not cynical'.
]. But I will. Have you got his book, Letters to My Grandchildren? I'm so glad I got him to sign it. I didn't want to because when we saw him it was a late show and I didn't want to take up his time, but he gave everyone all the time in the world that night.
