Meet Up in Blackpool for lunch or coffee

I am nowhere near Blackpool BA69 but I saw your post in the Unanswered box and wanted to bump it so others GNetters see it.

I think I answered a similar post from this lady a while ago but received no reply. I live on the Wyre, not far from Blackpool and there’s a few of us who meet up locally. I did try to contact her a couple of times but she must not have been able to respond at the time. I’m on holiday just now but I will try and organise a little get together when we return if there is any interest.

I live in Blackpool too and recently discovered a brilliant group "Wandering Women" - they started out meeting on Comedy Carpet for a walk along the prom and it just grew - now there are meet-ups for a 'wander' in South Shore, Stanley Park, Bispham etc and you can join any of them. The walk is as far and as slow as you choose. If you're on Facebook, that's where I found them. I've been twice now and it was just so casual, easy and pleasant to chat with strangers and become friends x
