Hi there, I'm a long time user of Mumsnet but only joined Gransnet today as I'm soon to be a granny! I live in your area. I've been running a Meet-up group for local women over 45, for the last year, so if you go on to the Meet-up site and search for groups in your area my group should come up. We're called the Empty Nesters, What Nexters? If you have a look and think we're the sort of group you'd like to be part of (we have a few members in Droitwich), then let me know asap, and tell me a bit about yourself. The group closes on the 11th as it's costing me too much money to run, but we're moving over to a private Facebook group. You would be made very welcome if you do decide to join. A £5 contribution would apply to help me cover some of the costs I've incurred over the past year.
