Wokingham /Bracknell meet up

Yes indeed Deedaa. Anyone is very welcome. Let's think about another one in May/June. Maybe the weather will be nice enough for us to sit outside on the Piazza for coffee and then if we make it a Thursday or Friday ,we could cross to The Mosaic cafe for a light lunch.

I'm a bit late commenting (been updating the Virgin contract!) anyone in the Bracknell, Wokingham, Camberley, Staines area do come along to one of our meet ups. We don't bite - honestly.

Sorry you missed the meet up Pennyjw.There were only 3 of us who have known each other for some while so it was good to catch up. Hot chocolate for me and a piece of delicious orange shortbread that was quite unusual.

Hello Grandsnet friends, I saw Auntieflo's comment on the GM thread about the meetup today - I thought I was watching this thread but obviously wasn't so I have missed the updates! I hope you had a lovely time and hope I see you at the next one.

Auntieflo I would err on the side of lateness. My bus times have completely changed so I will be a little late too.

Or, the 10.30 bus and I will be slightly late.
Our little local bus is good when it runs properly, but dreadful, if it is late, or doesn't arrive at all!

6 Peach Place is the actual address of The Blue Orchid. See you tomorrow .They seem to have changed the times of my bus so I may be 10 minutes later than I expected to be.

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Wednesday at the Blue Orchid round about 10.30 ish.I am coming by bus so will probably be held up by the roadworks.

angelic I hope you are still able to join us. The bus stops are to the left outside the main entrance to the station. Ask for Broad Street which is probably only one stop.I will be on the No 3 bus which gets to the station at 10.21( sometimes a bit later) if you want to meet up with me there.I will look out for you.If not ,turn right when you get off the bus and then left by the shoe shop and the Piazza( square) is a little way down on the right.Hope to see you there.

Yes we are still on.There should be five of us all being well and anyone else is very welcome to join us. See you all there. The Mosaic Cafe does not do food on Wednesdays but The Blue Orchid does cakes etc.I should have said it is in the new Piazza. The Plaza is somewhere else !!Let me know if you don't know where to find it.

The same with the 4 or 4X. Some go to Reading. You want the Bracknell one. No3 is safe .It only goes into town. It is only hourly though. 4 and 4X are every 20 minutes.

If you do manage to come; you can also get a 121 bus from the station to the town centre. It runs approx. every 30 minutes, so you have a choice of buses, but make sure it's going to town, and not to Tesco!

Not really angelic (about a mile) It is walkable but there are fairly frequent buses into the centre Nos 3 and 4 from just outside the station. It would be lovely to see you though. We last met in Reading so if you think Wokingham wouldn't work for you we could organise another one for Reading.
