Ninja fourteen function oven

I'm finding it difficult to find recipes for the oven itself., there are plenty for the airfryer models.
I am going to experiment or adapt.

I have got a ninja 15/1, i found a woman on youtube who has brought out a cookery book for this specific model which explains the functions and gives recipes. The clever thing is that every recipe has a QR code which takes me straight to her youtube video of that recipe so .i can watch her making it too.

I made risotto in it, so much better than standing for ages watching it and having to gradually add stock and stir.

I also cooked part baked rolls in three minutes. Once I feel a bit better, I will try other dishes. It will complement my 14 in 1 Ninja air fryer.

Well I bought it and I love it!

I was going to keep the existing microwave and buy an air fryer too, the microwave works well, the outside looks like new but I just noticed that the non-stick lining inside the oven has started to peel. So it will have to go.

They are very easy to use, Allira, so I have no doubt about that. Whether they are what you want is another matter. They are very large and heavy, and have to be placed where there is clearance above them, which is often somewhere conspicuous.

As you are having a new kitchen, this may not be what you want. As I say, I now put mine in a drawer, but getting it out and putting it away is awkward because of its size and weight. They do make delicious chicken though, and if you don't already have an electric pressure cooker, that function is a game changer. You can have soup, rice, pasta, casseroles and more in minutes. I already had an Instant Pot, which I prefer, so only really use mine as an air fryer, which is why I see it as overkill.

I was very hesitant about the Ninja 14 in 1, despite my daughter raving about it. She had to stay with us after selling her house and we used it while she was here. I couldn't wait to buy my own one!

Is it too late for this old dog to learn new tricks? 😯

I only have a 9 in 1😧. Also a ninja barbecue affair which does everything but dance.

But both does what it says on the tin quite successfully.

The option was to have a built in oven and microwave combination but I decided against that so still have the old microwave.
That's worth thinking about.

I have one of these which I use far more than the oven.

It has an oven facility which is really good and heats up faster than a full size oven, and air fry facility which is fine for small amounts (not great for 'bucket' things like chips) and obviously is a microwave. It has a grill function too, but I find that a faff.

I use it more or less every day, as it sits on the worktop. Mine is black, so blends in with my kitchen.

I already have a Ninja 14 in 1 foodie, which is used on a daily basis. If it needed replaced, I would do it without thinking twice.

The oven has features, which the foodie does not have. However, the toaster function does not have great reviews. I have done my research and it is not a whim. RA makes life very problematic and I am always looking for ways to make it safer and easier.

I bake frequently, but am finding difficulty reaching and bending to take items from my oven and have had a number of mishaps. This may sort my problem.

Do you mean the Foodi 14 in 1?

I have one. All the functions I’ve tried work well (I haven’t used it as a toaster), but it is large and heavy, and not very attractive. For ages I had it permanently on the worktop (and remember that you can’t put it under wall units, so be sure to plan a space for it with nothing above it that is in reach of a socket). Now it lives in a drawer, which looks so much better, but the time will come when I find it too heavy to lug out and carry to the other end of the kitchen.

Why do you want it if you already have an air fryer? I already had a pressure cooker and slow cooker, so for me, buying this model was a mistake. I won’t replace it when it dies, although I do use it often. I would get a more basic air fryer that is smaller and lighter.

My advice would be to ask yourself why you want it, and think carefully about what value it will add to what you already own.
