New Cooker.

I use the oven liners and every so often spray of elbow grease and a wipe around, pink stuff paste and a steel scourer for more stubborn marks.
I have used a professional cleaner, it was £110 for my 3 oven Lacanche.

I did once have an oven cleaner in - best £45 I ever spent! - but it was ages ago now. The chap did an amazing job.

Our current ovens (built in single and combi microwave) are now both well over 30 years old (same as the kitchen) and TBH I’m often still amazed that they’re still going, although we did replace the gas hob maybe 10 years ago.

When one or the other does die the death we will finally have to replace the kitchen, since from what I can gather nobody now makes the same size combi microwave to fit that space.
It’s about time, of course, but the kitchen does still function perfectly well.

Professional oven cleaners are definitely worth it, I think ours is about £100, but it is a big oven.
It seems like a lot of money, but they strip it right down, and do a much better clean than you ever would.

Both the cookers I have had have had self cleaning sides and top and I have a silicone sheet on the base, so there isn't any cleaning to do, bar rinse the silicone sheet every so often.

I have mine cleaned once a year and it looks new again. Duel Fuel Range and hood costs £100 and worth every penny.

In between I wipe it down after every use using Pink Stuff to keep on top of it. I only cook one roast dinner a year and no meat otherwise and it’s never a big job.

When I had my kitchen done last year, I put a silicone sheet at the bottom of the oven. Easy to take out and wipe over. I do not use the big oven very much as there is only me most of the time and I have a small airfryer.

I do wipe it down inside every so often, and would definitely use a professional oven cleaning service if it started to get bad, and will tell my AC to do so before they put the flat up for sale.

The man who cleaned my oven made it look brand new. It cost about £35 but that was a few years ago when I was moving out of the house. I was sorry to leave the super clean cooker.

I pay £3 a month with Curry's and I then get my oven cleaned once a year. Great service!

I’ve just had my range cooker done for £70. She comes every 18 months and doesn’t charge me full price as she says it’s never very bad. I think full price is £80/£85. Money very well spent i.m.o.
