I cannot believe it has happened again.

Oh how tragic, those poor little children. And such a shock for you and their wider family. You haven't mentioned grandparents - I do hope they are nearby and have been able to take the children under their wings.

How will those poor little mites ever get over this trauma?

I do wonder how people manage such awful things one after another.

As has been said the children will probably need professional help. Don't be afraid to seek help yourself either if you feel the need.

My heart goes out to you and the children in this most terrible of situations.
Only you know the situation with regards to who takes over the upbringing of the little ones but do get help for yourself also. You need to talk all this through with someone a friend or professional.

As another poster suggested perhaps you should consider bereavement counselling?

Certainly I hope the children are getting some psychotherapy to help them, poor little mites.

I'm so sorry to hear this. What a terrible thing to happen to those children. So, so sad and certainly puts life's minor worries into perspective.
