Do you have a CCTV system you'd recommend?

We feel we ought to put up CCTV for our front and back gardens, for various depressing reasons.
I have no idea where to start.
I'd love to hear experiences with systems which their owners are really pleased with. Or to be warned off any duds!

There was a recent thread on this. We have a cctv camera which is on our drive/ front door, we can see the picture live on our phone, we had it set up by s security firm, not a diy job. It works really well.

I think it makes sense to have a proper firm do it - but can you tell me what make yours is?
