My DH cooks most meals. He is better at it than me. I'm not over interested in food so would find fiddling about for what seems like hours a waste of time. I happily and gratefully eat whatever is put in front of me. I have to say if I did cook I would happily be vegetarian. DH is about to have a hip replacement so have listed meals that I'll do while he's incapacitated remembering his nutritional needs too. So, chicken, beef, eggs, cheese it will be with lots of veg. So hope I can do it well for him. . . .

at those of you who's partners cook. My sisters husband shops and cooks almost every meal. My circumstances mean that's not possible. If it was I doubt my husband would cook. He's just not that interested. I took over peeling potatoes when I was around 9. It just dawn on me that I've spent a very long time doing it. Still there are worse things in life than peeling potatoes in a warm kitchen.
