I used to have a Flatley heated clothes dryer. It was a metal cabinet with a heater at the bottom and a dozen wooden rails which slotted in across the top, and a lid. There were ventilation slots in the sides to let out the hot air. It worked well, with things hung over the rails. It did get quite hot, though, and I would never trust it when I was not in the house.
