How do you stop the loo paper from getting wet?

I really like the look of the wet rooms on the property programmes and I used one recently when I was in hospital. I still really like the idea BUT when the loo is also in the wet room, the toilet paper gets wet. Everything gets wet. And the new shape wash basins (rectangles, shallow bowls, woodland stone dishes) seem to send the water swirling right round the bowl and over the edge. And what is the point of 'waterfall taps'? Why is a bath with a rolled edge better? Is it just me?

Actually on Cunard you get a disabled room that is twice the size of a normal one for the same price!

My DS has just had a wet room fitted so she can bath her 20 yr old son, who is about 6ft 6in and huge, the loo actually washes and dries him. She cant believe how much easier it is to sort him out, and of course she isnt getting any younger so in time she would have had to have help to bath him.

A friend of mine who has no arms has one of those. He is a hell of a character. I suggest you google him . His name is Frank Letch. I've known him since uni days. He was always surrounded by women!.

I had a wet room tonight! The cistern was overflowing and DH decided to fix it before he went to bed. Sudden yell from upstairs - I went up to find him soaked to the skin with the bathroom floor awash, his shorts (which are a bit too large) round his ankles and water gushing out of the cistern grin
It only took an hour and a half to sort it out ...... what else would you spend Tuesday evening doing?

If your shower cubicle is big enough you have plenty of room to turn and bend. My en-suite shower can take four adults and a large dog comfortably, don't ask grin

Actually my Mother in Law had her bathroom turned into a wet room by the council. Not bad - it only took them four years to get round to it, during which time she was unable to have a bath or shower even with help. The shower was in the opposite corner to the loo and there was no problem with the paper getting wet.

My present walk in shower is very tiny! I can hardly turn in it! In fact I keep the door open so i can manoeuvre !
I really must convert my bathroom! But I'm worried about getting someone who'll rip me off?
