I find that when the sun shines, I feel I must get outside and take advantage of it, so the weather is too nice to be indoors cleaning. Then when it rains, I feel too fed up to start cleaning. The only time I really do any serious cleaning is just before visitors arrive.
In spring, I clean anything that sunshine coming through the window shows up as a bit too dusty. Last week I moved the furniture round in the sitting room, and hoovered the bit behind the TV. That should do till next year, so I'll call it spring cleaning
Hello Bags, well 7 years of dust would certainly make good draft insulation!! Seriously, have found myself hoovering curtains and generally letting the breeze blow through the bedrooms these last couple of days......and my Vege box delivery man said that hes not seen so much washing out on lines on his rounds, since last year!
Just spent some time poking dust from between floorboards with a meat skewer and sookin' it all up (not the skewer) with the vacuum cleaner. Second time in seven years. Only did a few boards in the hall. Need a sit-downery and a snackeroo now.
Actually, I started worrying that I was removing "insulation" . Wouldn't want to do that.
