Teeth suddenly breaking?

I’ve been told I have a crumbling jaw bone I suppose that goes with osteoporosis and my nearly 80 age I’ve been told I should see a specialist Dentist privately, starting price at £800, that’s not going to happen for such an old mouth if I was 30/40 I d find the money from somewhere
I had 4 back teeth removed when I was 4 years old I CANNOT imagine why? I was an end of war baby there was no such thing as sweets or sweet drinks, no fizzy, just good home made food typical meat and veg old fashioned cooking I cannot imaging how four of my young back teeth could have been a problem I never thought to ask anyone and there’s no one to ask now and I never had 2 of my wisdom teeth come through
So I was 6 down to start life 😳

Personally I would pay as there is no hitch on a hearse,if you can afford it,and it will improve your life, afterall your worth it

I sympathise, my dentist has tried to repair a broken tooth twice in the last 3 monthsand it has broken again but I think I need to have it out or maybe they can crown it. I've been waiting to see the dentist for over a week and tomorrow I find out if there is any hope.

I guess I'm lucky as I have all my teeth (28 for me as I never got wisdom teeth) but it feels like a big step to start having teeth out. It is a very back bottom tooth and I'm not sure how that will affect my bite and chewing. Feeling nervous.

I feel like I'm falling apart since my 70th birthday.
