Any advice on Magnesium supplements.

Sorry OP, missed out the crucial bit, they are Citrate, and Vegan

I also like Healthspan supplements but I have Epsom salt baths which eases leg pain and helps reduce swelling in my feet and ankles.

our knowledgeable local healthshop recommended the NaturesPlus Magnesium capsules, they do an orange powder too, mix with water as a drink, speeds absorption, take daily, it needs to kick in properly, expensive, but beats howling with pain and cramps in the middle of the night

Same here. There are lots of informative articles on their website as well.
For anything I take regularly I have it on a subscription which gives a price discount.
I can manage the details of this, eg how frequently I want it delivered and if I want to change a delivery date or cancel it, through my account online.

Epsom salts in a bath. Mag sulphate. The skin will absorb what it needs

I take lots of magnesium to help my Vit D deficiency, and I do find that it helps with restless legs too. My tip would be to avoid Magnesium Oxide as it can cause bad diarrhoea, but Magnesium Citrate is much gentler on the stomach and works well.

I find two of these magnesium bisglycinate capsules at night help me sleep. They should help with painful legs too.

I bought Boots own brand because like Nannylovesshopping, I get leg cramp at night. However, two months into taking them and I'm still getting the cramp, so am not convinced they work - for me.

Just looking up the magnesium from Healthspan which I just posted about, and it says this:
We would recommend this product to be taken for a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks, however maximum benefits may not be obtained until at least 3 to 4 months of continuous usage.

I did recommend Vitabiotics to her as that is my go to brand for Vit C and Iron.
However my query was really about the citric or glycinate.
There are others Ithink.

I take boots own brand magnesium for leg cramps at night, they are utterly brilliant, and painful leg cramps are a thing of the past!

I take the Vitabiotics ones, they do help to alleviate cramps.
