Male Menopause

Oh please someone explain this to me, because it sounds like a bit of a p**s take hmm Mid life crisis maybe, but really do men experience all the ghastly symptoms that go with this time of women's lives, mine hasn't been great, hot flushes, brain fog, insomnia, in some ways I know I got off light as to what some experience far, far worse!

Any thoughts?

No men don’t have a “menopause” as such, at some stage they will loose their sex drive, that could be 35 it might be 75 or older. The reasons are varied and not usually hormonal, obesity, diabetes, depression or other illness, often it’s psychological, fear of failure, so they dont bother, or an unenthusiastic partner

Men cannot have a menopause as such, as the literal meaning of menopause is the end of menstruation.

As men age they have a decrease in the production of progesterone, which in some can have side affects of tiredness, lack of libido etc.

Men do not have a menopause. However, they can have hormonal which can impact their health and wellbeing. As well as progesterone men should also check their testosterone levels.

It's ludicrous to take the menopause and extend it to men!! Can't women have anything of their own without men muscling in?

loss of testosterone can cause very similar symptoms.. even hot flushes

Isn't this about big pharma or general purveyors of snake oil trying to sell products to men to boost a flagging sex drive? Horny goat weed, anybody?

Not having lived in a man's body I have no idea what the andropause feels like but, as a woman, I experienced none of the debilitating symptoms of menopause that many do.

Logic tells me that some men will suffer during andropause and others won't.

Well they can’t have the menopause can they ?
They just want to pinch everything from women well let them have a real menopause and let them have a lifetime of painful periods and let them go through childbirth a few times then
I ll feel sorry for them
Pip off men and get your own problems stop pinching ours
