Barrett’s Oesophagus

Hi everyone. I’m a 70 year old who is really struggling at the moment. About 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Barrett’s Oesophagus. I was panic stricken to be honest but eventually sort of came to terms with it. My endoscopy review two years later said the biopsy showed I didn’t have Barrett’s. Since that time I’ve had occasional extremely painful indigestion, even to A and E because of the chest pain. I recently had another bout and am now waiting for another endoscopy. I am now panicking that I have had Barrett’s all the time and that because of not being monitored since I was told I didn’t have it that I have got oesophageal cancer. I’m just in tears all the time and keep feeling so very frightened. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does anyone else have Barrett’s? Sorry to be so negative but like I said I’m struggling at the minute.
