Sciatica

I had 2, they do it using a scan to direct the needle, no sedation, it wasn't painful in the least. It did offer some relief for about 3 months, the second for a few weeks.

I must say I've heard that some get long time relief, it is worth having.

Daughter had a spinal injection after months of being off work with sciatica. It has worked well for her.

MarathonRunner unfortunately it could work very well or also not make much difference. You are unfortunately having 2 separate back problems, spinal stenosis and bulging discs.

Others who "know" me are aware I advocate you see a neurosurgeon or a surgeon who deals specifically with backs and you are not seen by a jack of all trades. Good luck.

As a runner, I used to suffer from sciatica, then I was treated by a excellent physician who gave me follow up exercises to do, to free up the piriformis muscle. Similar to these -

I’ve had it, sadly didn’t work for me and didn’t work for a friend of mine either, however I’m going to give it another stab soon.
