Fungal toes

I was prescribed Terbinafine tablets but these are given as a last resort when nothing else has shifted the infection. You have to take them for six months and have blood tests during that time as they can affect your liver or kidneys.

I had this a few years ago when my GP could not even diagnose atheletes foot, which led to fungal nails.
It took a long time to get rid of especially the big toes. I used the paint on stuff and the whole nail needs to grow out. But it can be done.

DH had it, did take a year to eradicate.

The lacquer I've been prescribed is called Amorolfine. I assume the GP has prescribed the most effective. It's available online:

I have no idea if it will work because I've only just started applying it.

Actually just seen a thread from PINKCOSMOS on this problem so shall read this and see if I can come up with an tips. You might all have already contributed to the thread so any ideas I can pick up I shall try!

But that is what my GP (well the reception desk told me when I said I would probably only need to see the nurse rather than the Doctor and she said they don't deal with this anymore and to treat myself)

I've been warned it could take a year to clear up.

My GP has recently prescribed me treatment for fungal toe infection, so that's not true.
