The only thing I have used this for is dusting my chickens' feathers to stop them getting mites! Is it the same stuff?

Having read the heading, I simply had to Google this stuff! It sounds remarkably like sand! I see that it was also used by Alfred Nobel in the manufacture of dynamite in which case, my late father would have known all about it!

So far then, only Notspagetti SIL has any experience of taking it for health reasons?

I don't know to be honest. He is in a constant battle with his skin though.

I've used it to deter ants, deal with soil pests etc etc for 40 years.

It is fantastic to get rid of any ants in the house as it is completely safe around pets and children.

Just use a mask when using it.

I know some people use it as a natural remedy to keep
fleas at bay,by brushing it thru dogs coats. I haven't been brave enough to try it though.
