annie hope it’s not presumptuous of me to start the thread but I appear to have closed the last one and didn’t want to leave anyone with no where to go. Welcome all x
Evening all I am going to go out into the cold and get in my lovely warm hot tub, I think I may even have a glass of ? Hopefully away with the ?♀️ for a hour, CHILL time x
You hope you are looking after the feral correctly ? You who is just so caring for cats , I am certain you are looking after him really, really well . How are you ? X
gossamer I have a black feral who I am feeding. I cannot get close as its terrified but last night we had lots of slow blinks. hes beginning to call me when hes on my drive and wanting dinner!! cheeky devil. I hope i,m looking after him correctly. I have increased his food from one pouch and bics in the evening to two pouches and bics. He seems more content now.
Accident prone annie, you seem to be coping with it all, well done. I think knowing there is support out there somewhere makes a difference even if we don't call for it. Could someone come and clean the floor properly and keep their distance? 2 weeks ago a broadband engineer came and he was very good about keeping his distance and not touching anything. It was in his interest as well as ours.
My positives - I've set myself a couple of tasks to do today and DS & DiL have been told they will be on full pay until the end of July. They are still working but in an independent way, doing what they can for the company while not being expected to do it.
Doodle yes I have an alarm button, I didn’t press it, I hadn’t broken any bones , my son in law who isn’t is my contact number, I knew he wasn’t in town and didn’t want him racing back, he was rather cross I didn’t press for help, so his wife gave me her mobile number which I can give to the help team, I am so blessed to have these two and his wife accepts the bond between him and me. He is the son I never had .
Thank you for your kindness and friendship. I will remember all of your very dear, kind, Black Dog friends in my prayers every morning and every night. Xxxxx
Doodle where we live they call it rothercare warn round your neck or wrist and attached to the land line phone. Don’t know what is is called in other parts of the country.
annie do you have a system in Wales like we do in England where people have sort of panic buttons they can wear round their necks to summon assistance if the have need of help. I can’t think what it’s called at the moment but my SIL had one from the local social services. Hope you are ok. That milk is a bit of a problem. Hope you manage to clear it up. x Take care all x
Joyce so pleased you are having a better day, may you have many x
Can’t post a positive sorry, dropped a full bottle of milk on the kitchen floor and have no idea how to clean it up, been soaking it up with piles of newspapers but it’s there .
Who would be positive?
Sorry, got a positive, didn’t cut my hands with the glass
Thank you Joce for your cheery message. Bless you. Sorry to hear you got stuck like that Annie but you rectified it yourself. Good news. Take care to everyone. Dawn.
nonnie baking rock cakes is more than I can do now, glad you had a good nights sleep, it certainly helps.
I had a set back yesterday, legs muscles gave way , i was in the hall sat on my bottom, couldn’t get up, didn’t know who to ring because of the lockdown so I shuffled on my bottom to a sofa in the living room, took 20 minutes .
