Echinacea

Has anyone still got the cough after weeks of hacking. I’ve been trying echinacea with no results. Any other thoughts?

Yes I usually let things take their course but I’m fed up with this cough. I’ll guve NAC a try . Going to H and B today so I’ll get some there. Like you Sarah65 , once I start I can’t stop. Embarrassing!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a cough as horrible as this in my life.

I tend not to take very much for it, but I’m back to work today, and dreading dealing with phone calls, because once I start coughing I can’t stop!

Regarding Echinacea, when one of my children did a competitive sport, the coach encouraged them to take it as a preventative measure, it seemed to work.

I find NAC better than anything.
It is a natural compound that shifts mucus.
It is used in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis.
600mg 3 times a day.
It is safe to take with everything except blood thinning drugs.
H&B sell it as do many online retailers.

I’m another with that cough. Goes on for weeks doesn’t it. I’m usually one for waiting for coughs and colds to go on their own but I’d welcome any hints to get rid of this one.
