Efudix cream

..I have used it before on my hands etc...but now have to use just above my lip and on sides of nose near my nostrils...but the leaflet says not to use near lips/nostrils...anyone had to use it in these areas? Got to apply to cheeks also but am okay with that...just concerned....re lips/nostrils

Ask your doctor. It would only need a phone call

I am using it on my cheek at the moment well for 3 days, but nothing happening at present. I guess it’s accumulative?

I asked consultant who removed a basal cell carcinoma last week..he said it was fine..but the leaflet that He gave me said No...

My leaflet said keep away from mouth and eyes, and near mucus membrane.

So I guess as long as you don’t lick it, or stuff it up your nose.

It does seem to stay where it is put

I had to use it on my nose and had no problems with it. It's quite a thick consistency and so stays where you put it.
