statins or not statins

Thanks Missfoodlove good to know of similar experience. I slowly come to the same conclusion that for some reasons statins affect mobility.

Yes! My mother took statins for many years, she was left with very poor mobility.
I did some research and took her to the GP, he took her off the statins immediately.
Within a week she was moving around perfectly.

Hi all,
I would welcome your comments about the side effects of statins especially on the knees. DH has been on statins for 3 years and seems to suffer increasingly of knee pains. His GP says nothing to do with statins, but when he stops (which he shouldn't) knee pain goes away. Any similar experience?
