always wear good trainers that absorb the shock of hitting the ground. try running on grass do shorter runs stretch out before and after incorporate other exercises that do not put pressure on the knees put your legs up each day to rest your knees if any swelling appears always ice your knees for 15 minutes after running
Considering I was a couch potato before, I am quite proud that I’ve got this far! However, as the runs have progressed I have developed a pain at the side of both knees (medial) I can rotate both knees fine, and bend them ok. But the impact causes the pain and reduces me to more of a power walk. I’m wondering if I should reluctantly give up or give advice on what I should do? Thanks in advance
