Yeragain.......yes it is a lovely day. Go out in the garden or sit by a window and enjoy the sunshine. None of us know what tomorrow will bring. None of us know how many sunshine days we have left. 2 of my neighbours (same cul de sac) had cancer. I deliberately use the word 'had'. One didn't need chemo, but the other did and they have now both been given the all clear. Strangely, both have the same name, both are of the same age.
One thing for sure....if they thought your condition needed immediate attention, they wouldn't be messing about with your appointment dates.

Your GP should have all results and information, pay him/her a visit and ask outright.

So sorry to hear that. I don't know much about it but have recently heard that 2 friends with bowel cancer (one had spread to liver) have both been given the all clear. Someone I don't really know had stage 4 at least 4 years ago and is still going strong but I don't know the details. I realise that is not comfort but it does give reason to hope.

That sounds like sensible advice. I am sure if they were worried they would not be waiting until the middle of June.
I am sorry you are feeling like this. I too have cancer but inbetween appointments I often can forget about it.

the ct scan "didn't show any change" but the oncologist said needed a petct scan on my neck...for bowel cancer.....but no appointment for the results from the scan on may 24th until june 18th.
when I spoker to the cancer co-ordinator line they said it was a mistake re the neck scan, so dontworry about it!

Did you have the results of your CT scan? It seems a long time to wait for results. Are you in the UK?

How awful for you. I had to wait six months on a knife edge to find out if another heart attack was imminent. It wasn't but they could have informed me to save the worry. Could you complain to PALS? My brother did on my behalf and things really started moving then! I wish you all the best.

So sorry to hear of your predicament, Yeragain. We hear of so many people living with cancer nowadays. Afraid I can't offer any advice, but wishing you well when you do get those results.
