I did it ?, the two who took me were so kind

Had to have 4 x rays, knee not dislocated, I have a lump, it is about the size of a tennis ball and swelling around the knee .
Then they said you are down for an MRI, gulp, I said no and explained , so they said possibly I could have ultra sound, up
to the GP or Consultant.

Something positive, when they brought me home they said ,
wait for it - - - - - - - you did so well, how about coming to our new centre to see where we work, we will take you when
it’s closed, just you us and a cup of tea . And I am going to do it ? after I recover from today ! Be back later , younger
daughter home for few days x

joce mine is all linked to my stolen kitten. I am desperate to find him. I have changed massively since it happened. I am no longer me. I am a sad unhappy version of myself. I will never be again. I crave to hold him. Kiss him. Smell him. But someone has taken that away from me. Is he wondering why I havent saved him. Does he miss me like I miss him. In one way I hope not. I cant stop the tears from falling. They fall by themselves I cant stop them x

God awful day...ive been crying on and off since 7.30 this morning. Hubby has been very good with me today.

Been offline for over a day so came on to see how you got on Annie hope all OK. I'm assuming you went or you would have been on here to say you hadn't. Hopefully you are home now and busy with your daughter and not bothered about coming on here. Enjoy and tell us all about it after she has gone.

I am so annoyed with myself, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the hospital by car , because I will not go near the bridge I have a much longer drive ahead

I have a choice, cancel and put up with the knee, hip and spine problems or go for x rays, so it’s x rays .

Will take iPad so I can play ‘Sailing By’, bottle of rescue remedy and and one of my collection of owls my elder daughter bought me. A fun one.

We are all behind you Annie. Most likely all of us can identify with your feelings so we do understand.
Before too long you will be back home.

Annie........... during the journey, try to think of happy times in years gone by. As Doodle said, perhaps take something familiar and comforting with you. Try to distract yourself by looking at, and focussing on, on small thing in the car - I remember a time when I felt as you do, and I sat and counted the rows of stitches on a car seat, and then once when I counted the tiles on a ceiling.

Thank you Doodle it’s so hard to believe it all started from choice . Will post when I am back home. My younger daughter will be here when I get home she is down for a few days , again thank you so much x

annie you will be alright. Get something to hold in your hand from home, perhaps a pebble or something youcan rub and just look at it and hold onto it. Nothing bad will happen to you. The fear will not overwhelm you. It may be difficult but you can overcome this. The build up before you go will be worse than the actual trip because you are worried about it. You will be alright. We will all be with you. x

Am very fearful this evening, to all who read this thread , if
you hit a very down time and don’t want to go out, please go out. I am in this state because I chose to stay in the bungalow because I didn’t want to meet people, one day the
‘I don’t want to go , feel too down or don’t want to talk to people ‘ suddenly becomes ‘ I can’t go out ‘, big difference
