Doodle thank you for that.. I have no bladder infection tested my water nothing in it except what they say is to do with diabetes.. that’s why I have to have it re tested they say it’s nothing to worry about, I am just a worrier. I believe the constant weeing is to do with VA.

nanny things may be different in the English NHS but here one has to see a GP who usually refers you on to the
psychiatrist who decides if you need to be admitted,

nanny I think a trip to your GP is in order. It doesn’t matter how you are when you are at work it’s the quiet times when your mind is working overtime that counts.
Try and explain how you feel. I think what you describe is how we all feel sometimes when things get too much. Hope you get some help.

Sorry joce missed your earlier post. I think the constant need to wee is an issue to be dealt with. It could well be cystitis or bladder infection or some such. Something which most women have had at sometime in their life. Get your GP to help there.
Now down to the subject of vaginal atrophy. Firstly I cannot emphasise enough how much this can bring you down. I was not joking when I said that I nearly gave up work because of it. I had to stop driving my car because the irritation nearly drove me mad. I had never heard of vaginal atrophy. No one ever mentioned it.
You can look it up on the internet but basically the inside of your vagina dries out with age. The sides can start to adhere to each other and underneath can make you itchy and sore. This is normal. I now know loads of women suffer from this.
I think the product you mention is similar to Replens and works the same way. I have looked it up. I don’t know if you are using the applicator once every 3 days or if you are using the tube you just dab on with your finger or even both. I started with just the applicator. This was not enough. You should use the applicator to put the lubricant high up which will dissolve gradually and make things more comfortable but also get the tube one to put some down below with your finger. This will help calm things down. Sorry the next bit is a bit unpleasant but sometimes some white blobby stuff comes out. Again this is normal. It is the dead cells being ejected and it will do you no harm. After a while this will clear up. As I mentioned previously, I use my Replens every day without fail. If I don’t then I notice the difference. But using it daily means I don’t think about the atrophy any more and it is not an issue.
Please try not to worry. All these things are quite common and many women suffer like this, you just don’t know that because we don’t talk about it. There are old threads on GN about it too if you want to look them up. Take care.

neither. i dont see anybody. Apparently you can go to a NHS hosp/mental health unit as a voluntary patient. I was thinking of going to my GP monday and see what he thinks? but i feel all he will do is increase my meds...I feel like my head is going to explode. I have too much running round in there. At work i am fine, i can laugh and joke with colleagues I can be busy...the instant i stop...the instant..then its all still there it makes me want to scream

Just wondering does anyone else ever feel lonely? Depression/anxiety is quite an isolating problem and you want to put your best foot forward but you don't always feel in the best of spirits.

I think myself that loneliness is a bit of a modern malaise.

I have spoken to my hubs tonight about admitting myself to hospital. he has said if i feel i need it then go. (which doesnt help) he did say i am up and down he sometimes feels he cant speak to me as he cant tell my mood. He also agrees i,m struggling mentally right now. I just feel such a fraud on days like today when im fairly ok

Joce please try to control the thought, if the second test confirms positive millions have the same, your diet will be discussed and reducing sugar will be advised to halt it. That’s it. X

nanny you do need to speak to your GP, you seem to be so depressed , this can be helped if you seek the help. X

joce many people have borderline diabetes and it is apparently nothing to worry about, could be just the body not functioning correctly as we get older. If the next test comes back positive I'm sure you will get a lot of help to deal with it.

I'm not suggesting you do this unless you view it the same way I do. I look things up on Google and if there are 10 symptoms and I only have 7 of them I am sure I don't have whatever it is. Of course others would look at the same info and assume they do have it.

Nanny I think you should go and tell you doc how you are feeling.

nanny mental health is an illness like any other including a broken leg. No stigma should be attached to it. If you need help go to your GP and get it.

Aww Doodle I am so scared all the time, it’s the constant wanting to wee it sending me mad, I had breast cancer so have to be careful what I use I am at the min using Yes VM don’t know how long it takes to work.. hope you don’t mind me asking did you have the need to wee all the time.. that in itself is worrying me so much.

joce I have had vaginal atrophy for years and at one point the constant irritation and uncomfortable feeling nearly drove me out of my mind. I almost gave up work because of it. Today I hardly give it a thought. I use Replens daily (a dab here and there works fine) There are many products out there that help so do take advice and use some. Please try and not to worry about health issues. Many things these days have good treatment methods and I am sure your GP /nurse will sort out the best options for you. Hope you feel better soon.

nonnie i have been toying with admitting myself into hospital for a bit but i,m worried that it may cause ...stigma..is that the right word? I,ve only just had my meds doubled about 4-5 weeks ago. Maybe i will call GP and discuss increasing again. I,m not having thoughts of harming myself but i,m very...meh who cares if i live or die (meaning i dont)

Well my health anxiety has been though the roof last 3days.. doc thinks I have Virginia atrophy. Been using cream, yes it has helped but bladder still troublesome. Had to take a water sample in and it came back slightly abnormal scared me daft had a really bad melt down. Today decide I need to speak to some one to put my mind at ease. Our nurse phoned me and said it’s nothing to worry about just needs repeating in a month. Something to do with diabetes... I am borderline. Please don’t post anything that will scare me any more fuwww I was so scared think I am coming down a bit now errrr I hate this horrible health anxiety..
