Cold sores woes. Sorry!

I wonder if tea tree oil would help? I find it good for healing other skin problems.

I've always relied on acyclovir (zovirax) but a few weeks ago 1 felt a bit let down when it really didn't work very well.
From thinking I had the solution I'm back to square one!

Not the prettiest subject. But always been a sufferer. Had a useful light therapy gadget, Virulite, that zapped them before they got painful. Last time I bought was £30. Now up to £100!! Think they’ve seen off competition and whacked up price. Can’t find any other providers. Any tips on finding a source for similar product or any other remedies? Find Zovirax and similar do no good, by the way.
