Not read other threads about this so only know what is on this one. I cannot imagine how hard this is for all of you so will simply at my prayers for you all.

I was told that sometimes when people awake from a coma they have heard all that has been said while they were unconscious so keep saying all the things she would like to hear, it just might help. God bless you all.

I've only just caught up with your news, morethan. I am thinking of you and your family at this terribly tense time. I hope for better news of your dear DiL for whom I know you have been a tower of strength during her illness. ?

What a very anxious and sad time you are having. I hope you manage to stay strong for the family. It sounds as though they will need you and all your love.
If thoughts help then I’ll add mine to the mountain of them that have already been sent.

I want to thank you for sending support during my lowest ebb. I was very distressed and being alone with no communication was awful. Having her children upstairs added to my worst fears. There has been no change she remains completely unconscious. I saw her today and she looked asleep and I thought she’s not suffering, it’s our turn to suffer. My poor son cried in my arms sobbing. Her family are besides themselves. Many thanks for all your kindness, support and prayers.

You will want to be strong for everyone, but do take a moment here and there to replenish your emotional batteries.

Your distress was palpable, Morethan. This is just the most awful, awful thing. I'm glad your dil is not suffering but, ye gods, this is terrible for everyone else. I wish I could say something more comforting but words fail me.
