I have a granuloma over my big toe joint above a suture scar from a bunion removal op thirteen years ago. It flared up at New Year and is till bleeding eight months after.
Naturally, am having continuous hospital treatment but it doesn't heal up. Am told that a suture thread has probably been englobed into the operated bone but that an operation would be very debilitating. They are trying to dissolve it with silver nitrate cauterizing.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Seems unreal to me and am getting really fed up with hopping around in flipflops all the time.
