I'm in shock.
Three weeks ago I was chasing around with my DGSs; yesterday I was told I have moderate to severe heart failure caused by a silent MI. I thought I had 'flu, was taken into A&E, told it was pneumonia and that I had a very abnormal ECG. Echocardiogram shows that some of my heart muscles aren't working at all, I'm on medication, wearing a cardiac tape and awaiting a cardiac MRI.
Has anyone else been diagnosed with L side heart failure?
I'm 64, walk miles, low blood pressure, cholesterol levels fine.
