Low energy in menopause prescribed testosterone.

I think the tablets I was on when I had a lot of pre menopause bleeding had testosterone in them.

If you look on "menopause matters" lots of women have been prescribed testosterone

Women have natural levels of testosterone (and men have some oestrogen). So a tiny dose of some extra when your energy levels are low sounds fine to me.

After seeing consultant that is it really prescribed testosterone male hormone in small dose. Has anyone else been prescribed this? Does it work? I was a bit shocked really.
