I have read Gransnet for ages now but this is the first time I have posted anything. I have suffered from anxiety and depression on and off for most of my adult life usually treated with medication. After a particularly difficult year I find myself going down that road again. I do not want to use medication yet again and was wondering if anyone could suggest any self help books that might help. I have found somewhere that I may be able to get counselling but have to wait eight weeks for first appointment.
