Yes!!! But you do get over it and suddenly life is good again. Set yourself some goals like getting as fit as possible and learning something new. The idea is to take your mind off yourself and instead concentrate on the possible.

Hopefully you will get over it as Whitewave says. However, not every woman is as lucky. We are all different and there are some women who never get back to how they were pre menopause and suffer for the rest of their lives with horrendous symptoms. I am one such lady and, fortunately, I have a sympathetic, switched on, GP who prescribes me a low dose patch which helps alleviate some of my symptoms which had gone on for 12 years with no sign of abating. So, at the age of 65 when I felt life wasn't worth living, I finally sought help.
Nancan, I really hope things get better for you naturally, but if not, please see your GP and ask to go back on HRT. I also recommend you look on the Menopause Matters website where there is a wealth of information and a lot of ladies with expert knowledge and support. Don't suffer alone.

Thankyou Hotmama I wondered if it would be ridiculous to go back onto HRT. I think it may be a good idea to see what's available in low dose. I do have a lovely GP and will go and have a chat with her. I shall also have a look on Menopause Matters. I can't possibly carry on the way I am. Here goes......
