Lovely blue sky and glorious sunshine today. It turned pleasant yesterday, but there was a nightly breeze that took the edge off the warmth a bit. It seems less breezy this morning.
Believe it or not though, I heard a lady complaining in the post office yesterday that it was * too hot*! Goodness me...

A Good morning all.
After the weather cleared up nicely yesterday,sunshine being such a pleasure although a breeze persisted.
On arising this morning it is a little disappointing to see yet more grey sky and mist,however we have been assured that this promise of a mini heat wave WILL arrive,the question is..........when?
At least my OH has a choice of wet or dry jobs..............power washing or mowing...........so at least progress will hopefully continue here.
After my trip to the surgery followed by a palatable trip to top up the larder,followed by a walk around M & S and lunch out,yesterday turned out very pleasant.
A quiet contemplative day ahead today I rather think.

Sadly no yellow ball due to make an appearance here in Glasgow so, ever the glass half full head on today and have decided it’s a perfect day to finish off tidying the garden?

At the hairdressers yesterday the lady sitting next to me was complaining about the terrible chest infection she has and coughed and spluttered constantly.

Conclusion.....I don’t care about passing this virus on to others, my hairdo takes priority??. Vent over.

Morning all! Bright and beautiful morning here on the south east Hampshire coast and warm already. It might even be "Phew what a scorcher" headline tomorrow!

Just back from our usual early supermarket trip. Why do they keep moving things around? Had to search high and low and eventually ask where the pancetta was. It used to be with cooked meats but no longer.

A beautiful day in Berlin, expected to be 26 degrees today.
An unexploded bomb has been discovered at the main railway station and will be diffused just as we are leaving for the airport tomorrow. There is an exclusion zone and patients from the nearby hospital will be evacuated. ☹️
Our first priority today is to work out an alternative route.

It's a lovely bright start in North Leicestershire and I really wish our garden furniture had arrived. Sainsbury's this morning then a lovely catch up lunch with my friend.
