A rather late Good Morning !
Not a bad day but dull here in N. Bucks. Have been out to buy stuff for Dd2s birthday cake which I am making. Quick tidy up and then some Christmas sewing to do.
Out this evening with 2 of my DDs to see a live streaming of ‘ The Nutcracker ‘ .

Been up a long time, but forgot to post earlier.
It's a grey, dismal, cold morning here and a bit breezy.
Must try to get my cards started properly today. I've sent the ones for abroad, but no others yet. I can't seem to motivate myself to do it.
Not a lot planned today, so I just might get on with those cards! ?

Good morning from Lancashire where it's grey and sure to rain. More paperwork this morning, nice bath and hair wash first though.

I didn't wake up until 8.30! Dull and grey here today.

Making a batch of meatballs this morning to take to my daughters for their evening meal, then I babysit whilst they go out.

I went to my first U3A meeting yesterday. Lifestyle class, which was about Looking after your Hearing. Bit late for me as I wear hearing aids, but was interesting to be able to take part and share my experience of hearing loss. I walked to the venue which took half an hour, but was good to get the exercise and bumped up my steps a treat

We go on the train to Leamington Spa fairly often kitty, love it there.

Wrote all my Christmas cards yesterday afternoon while DH was at a funeral, I had to wait in because sister was going to visit but she sent her DH instead.
Shopping today, my excitement knows no bounds.

Have had plumbers here this morning making a mess !!! Once they've gone I shall be clearing up. What fun.
Kitty, my eldest daughter lives in Leamington, I was there last week, lovely town with some great restaurants, enjoy your lunch.

Good morning All. rather grey skies, At least I am not dashing off early to mind the grandson today.

It's a 50mile journey that takes over an hour and a half. We had fun though two yr olds are good company. I miss the seeing so much of the new school boy though.

I used to be able to change a loo seat, Ann but I wouldn’t know how to start now. You can’t actually see the fixing on modern ones.

It's mild in Kent this morning, just grey and boring really.
We are off to do some food shopping in the next town later, and the exciting bit, we need to buy a new loo seat !!

Kitty Have a lovely time in Leamington. As a child I used to live near there and my Dad had a cinema in the town. I remember visiting the Jepherson Gardens, I hope they are still there as they were lovely. Enjoy your lunch. And you have fun too Mick.

I just had a peer around the curtains and it looks as if it could be a bit misty out there. The forecast did say it would be warming up.

Nothing planned for today apart from a swim with an appointment for an X-Ray on my knee. First step to a new one hopefully. Eventually. I'm aiming at next Easter!
