Aren’t they the best thing. A while ago now as she’s older but carrying granddaughter up the stairs to bed she suddenly looked at me snuggled into my neck and said “ oh Granny I love you so much” absolutely priceless!

My lovely little granddaughter aged 3 was watching me get undressed the other day, when i took my bra off she said in a low voice WOW ! then I love you grandma. It's a long time anyone said that when they'd seen me naked lol .

When you get the wind knocked out of you by DGS charging out of the school door and leaping up at you for a bear hug.

My 7 year old GD always holds my hand when we see her, and yesterday told me I was her "bestest-ever Mamma"

I love the feeling of the moment you feel a smaller hand reaching out for yours when you are walking along together... and not only little hands now as eldest DGD is still happy to hold my hand
