Summermary, I'm so sorry to hear about the problems dd is facing. I'm not clear, though, on why the access is "too much, too soon for a child with ASD." Does the ex not understand about ASD or how to deal with the child? Or is it just that the changes are too much for an ASD child?
I hate to say it because of the costs, but dd may need to get a different solicitor. Perhaps someone who has successfully handled similar cases? Can you afford to help her cover the costs, if need be? Maybe not, but it might be worth it if you can.
